Jennifer is a culturally sensitive, CA state licensed and ASHA certified speech- language pathologist serving the southern California region. She has a passion for speech and feeding disorders. She is PROMPT trained and has a vast skill set specific to motor speech using multiple modality approaches (touch, sound, visual, and motor feedback) for speech and feeding development.
She believes in a holistic approach that provides you (the caregivers) with a toolbox of skills to help decrease the frustrations that arise from your child not being able to fully express themselves or get through mealtime without tears.
I am a PA native who has lived in FL and currently CA as a military spouse. I am a passionate mom to a baby girl, and speech therapist who believes patience, consistency, and teamwork lead to speech and feeding success stories and lasting relationships.
This system takes the frustration out of your child learning how to speak. It incorporates evidence based principles for speech, language, cognitive, and social development and looks at all of your child's strengths to help target their areas of need.

We have a complex 10-year-old child, K, with CP. Our original reason for driving 200 miles round trip was for PROMPT Therapy. When that wasn’t working as planned we found we needed to start with oral motor skills. Jenn knows the Beckman Oral Motor protocol, which we maintain today. Jenn spent the time to get to know K and would drag out new and different musical toys that would get her attention. We could always count on Jenn to be there. I have to say in the three years we’ve attended the speech with Jenn, we have learned to communicate with K and she is eager to learn to speak with a device that was chosen specifically for her. I left each week with many ways to work with Knot only with communication but also in helping me as a new homeschooling parent. I am so pleased to have Jenn as our granddaughter’s SLP.

Jennifer is a great mentor. During our time together, I observed her as having a positive attitude while remaining highly professional on a daily basis. Despite any challenges Jennifer faced, she always maintained a calm demeanor and focused on solving the problem at hand. When we were able to work together in implementing AAC devices for our clients, we were able to make significant progress! In addition, I was able to observe Jennifer during a private session in which she demonstrated her expertise in treating children with Apraxia and oral motor deficits. Not only was she an excellent therapist in her delivery of treatment, but she took the time to explain each treatment plan in detail to ensure I gained the most accurate knowledge. Jennifer provided speech therapy services for 2 of our triplet boys, and we couldn’t be more pleased with her expertise, friendliness, and professionalism. Jenn is very easy to work with and makes us feel validated in our concerns, but more importantly, it gave us goals to meet and tailored strategies to achieve those goals. We felt Jenn gave us lots of attention and we were not rushed in our time with her.
One thing that really stands out about Jenn is her creativity in strategies, and finding the root of the problem rather than giving us a standard fix. Other people had encouraged us to” just use sign language” until my son started speaking on his own. Jenn however, gave us customized exercises that seemed goofy, but he started making progress within 2 days of these “weird” exercises!! She spent time really listening to what I told her I saw and was very patient and loving as she played, and got to know my son.
I highly recommend Jenn, with exceptional knowledge, and education she is the best in her field!
